The island of Tiga - 'Tokanod' in Drehu language - is the smallest of the Loyalty Islands in New-Caledonia. Located 16.7mi (27km) north of the northernmost point of Maré Island, it extends over 3.1mi (5.3km) from north-west to south-east. Its width varies between 0.6 and 1.2mi (1.7 and 2.4km). It peaks at 301.8ft (92m) above sea level.
