Like the other islands of the Loyalty archipelago, Tiga is a coral island which forms a small raised limestone table. The highest elevations are to the southeast which rises to 249ft (76m) and forms cliffs overlooking the Coral Sea. The only tribe that populates the island is located at the opposite, to the northwest.
