The excavation and cleaning of the remains of the archaeological sites of La Villasse and Puymin in Vaison-la-Romaine made it possible to carry out detailed surveys of the structures in different ways. Archaeologists can study them by manual drawing for details survey (photo), through laser technology for the precise study of large masses, and by straightened photography. The comparative and detailed analysis of these surveys allows defining the main construction phases of the various monuments, understanding their establishment, delimiting the areas to be excavated or preserved, and recreating the plans of the initial buildings.
