The Nature Reserve of Scandola is the pride of Corsican people. But this capsule free from human presence is fragile. One of the Caulerpa species is a threat to marine biodiversity: the spaces it covers become marine deserts. This invasive and dense algae smothers the other marine plants, including Posidonia meadows, and causes certain fish species to migrate.
