Last month, the Macaw Mountain team were pleasantly surprised to find that their new attempt to pass a fertile scarlet macaw egg, rejected by its parents, to another pair of scarlet macaws who had only non fertile eggs had worked. The team continues to monitor its development on a daily basis. At five weeks old, the little adopted is in great shape! As proof, here is a photo of him.
