The world's rarest cloud
0
0
The asperatus is the rarest cloud in the world. It has the shape of a psychedelic wave and forms before or after the thunderstorm. This cloud is mostly visible in the plains where the risk of a US storm is high. Variations in atmospheric pressure and shifts in air masses cause these wave-like clouds to form. The asperatus has just entered the World Cloud Atlas, published by the World Meteorological Organization.
