The world kiteboard speed record
1
0
The world kiteboard speed record is held by a French athlete. Alexandre Caizergues broke his own record in 2017 by reaching a speed of 64.62 mph (104.86 km/h)!
Most kiteboarders generally reach speeds that vary between 15 mph (25 km/h) and 25 mph (40 km/h). Wind speed aside, there are many other factors that determine the speed a kiteboarder achieves such as water surface and technique. Professional competitors therefore regularly reach speeds of over 60 mph (80 km/h).
