The wild carnation
Carnation (Dianthus armeria) is a species of annual or biennial herbaceous plant in the Caryophyllaceae family. The stem is a bluish green color, 18 to 28 cm high. The leaves are short, stiff and almost flat. The flowers, 1 to 3, develop at the top of the stem. They also have a subtle fragrance, but they are in great danger of disappearing. It is forbidden to pick them under penalty of a fine.
