The typical half-timbered houses
0
0
The half-timbered house is a well-known symbol of Normandy. These homes, which decorate Norman postcards, mostly consist of wood. The term half-timber indeed designates the set of beams that constitute the frame of the walls. These sometimes particularly colorful homes are traditionally built from natural and insulating materials, such as wood, clay, and stone.
