In southern France, the Raço di biòu bull is the true star of the renowned Camargue races. This breed, known both for its fiery and wild nature and for its speed and agility in the arena, is bred especially to compete against the raseteurs in these races. The raseteurs are the second main actors of the traditional bullfighting races as they attempt to catch the various attributes (cockade, strings, etc.) previously attached to the horns of the biòu (photo).
