A 1.5 mi (2.5 km) marked trail accessible to all and walkable in 1h30 from the Mille Couleurs car park allows visitors to discover the Fairy Chimneys and the Gourgues cirque of the Provençal Colorado. This footpath, known as the Tour des Gourgues et des Cheminées de Fées, opens onto the old pumping station used during the industrial period for the exploitation of the ocher quarries. Hikers then discover the columns of sedimentary rocks topped with hard stone mounds which look like gigantic mushrooms. Finally, after taking the Sahara trail, they end up at the monumental cliffs of the Gourgues cirque crossed by the eponymous stream.
