The three Fs of René Lalique
0
0
It was to develop tableware that René Lalique set up a glass factory in Wingen-sur-Moder in 1921. There he produced a series of dinner services, which he named after Alsatian cities: Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Colmar. René Lalique brought glass into all areas of life. He designed vases, but also lights, sculptures, clocks, radiator caps for cars of the Roaring Twenties, inkwells, mirrors... The three Fs that were his favourite themes – ‘Femme’ (Woman), Fauna and Flora – continue to be part of the DNA of the company today.
