The third largest lake in Morvan
0
0
The Cousin river leads to the Lac de Saint-Agnan in Nièvre, in the heart of the Morvan Regional Nature Park. The alternation of fir forests with a wild aspect with some large meadows has earned it the comparison with Ireland, and some locals call it 'Little Canada. The Lac de Saint-Agnan extends over 370 acres (150 ha) and remains the third largest lake in the Morvan after Pannecière and Les Settons. Its waters full of fish attract many fishermen on electric boats or along its banks, provided they have a fishing license.
