The vine is pruned in winter. At the beginning of spring, the sap rises: it is the weeping of the vine. From March to mid-April, the buds appear. This phase is called the bud break. Then comes the leafing. At the beginning of summer, small white flowers appear : this is the flowering stage. At the beginning of June, fruit set is the formation of fertilized grapes. Then, these grains grow thanks to the sun: it is the stripping. During summer, veraison is the period when the grain takes on its color, then maturation becomes more precise. In September and October, comes harvest time.
