The temple of symphonic music

Since 2015, symphonic music has finally had a hall to match its size in Paris. The Pierre Boulez Hall at the Philharmonie is designed to create a close relationship with the audience and to offer the comfort of great acoustics to the artists. A great deal of work was done in modelling the hall with Sir Harold Marshall of New Zealand (Marshall Day Acoustics company), who worked with the architect Zaha Hadid on the opera house in Canton. The acoustician Tateo Nakajima, responsible for the renovation of the Salle Pleyel, also provided his expertise to the architect Jean Nouvel.
