The Tech's bowl

The Tech is a river located in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. Some 52 miles (84 km) long, it has the southernmost watershed in mainland France. This coastal river has its source at Roc Colom (8,225 ft / 2,507 m) in the Pyrenees and usually flows west-southwest to east-northeast. The Tech reaches the Mediterranean Sea at the Mas Larrieu nature reserve. The area extends north of the seaside resort of Argelès-sur-Mer and is known as Le Bocal du Tech (the Tech's bowl).
