The tastevinage: a rigorous selection

The Clos de Vougeot’s Oenothèque, in the castle's wine cellar, counts more than a hundred bottles. They are all marked with the seal of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, a guarantee of the quality of the Côte de Nuits wines produced in Burgundy. The labels mention the locality also called Climat. It is also noted whether there is a Grand cru or a Premier cru.
