Originally made of wood, Cézy bridge was later renovated with stones, metal and steel cables. This heritage monument, which dates from 1846 and is the only cable bridge in the department, is also a 295 feet (90 m) long communication route essential to the economic development and accessibility of the municipalities that it connects. Vertical hangers, the corrosion and resistance of which are regularly checked, attach the red painted metal deck of the bridge to the two supporting cables of the structure, which themselves join its four stone pylons.
