On the Var Mediterranean coast, Cap Bénat separates the bay of Bormes-les-Mimosas from that of Hyères, which it closes to the east. It forms the southernmost part of Provence, at the same 43° North latitude as Cap Corse. Cap Bénat benefits from a privileged location, facing Hyères Islands (Porquerolles and the Golden Islands) and close to Brégançon Fort, located on its western surroundings.
