Located at the gateway to the Maures Massif, the vineyard of Pierrefeu-du-Var owes its exceptional terroir to its varied soils and the region's remarkable sunshine. The clay-limestone soils of the plains provide rich earth that is well irrigated by underground water veins, on which wild fennel and garlic flavor the vines. On the slopes with schistous soils, they are also imbued with aromas of thyme, rosemary, lavender, or juniper.
