The Sanctuary of Asclepius

The sanctuary is located within the Butrint National Park on the peninsula of Butrint in southern Albania.
The earliest sanctuary comprised a temple to the God, a covered hallway (stoa) and a treasury to hold the offering made to the God.
By the 3rd century BC, the sanctuary has been modified to include a peristyle building and a theatre, which is shown on this photo.
