The ‘rounding’ of raw wood
0
0
The pieces of raw wood or sections of branches used for turning a piece of wood can be crooked. Robert Marichy, a woodturner, must therefore operate their necessary ‘rounding’ in order to balance his further turning work. For this operation, he must first point the center at each end of the piece of wood, using the centering bracket, in order to be able to place it between the spikes and start roughing it with a gouge.
