The renewal of artisanal glassmaking
0
0
Since 1956, Biot master glassmakers have been shaping molten material and giving birth to pieces of unparalleled luminosity thanks to the power of light capture and refraction of the bubbled glass that has become their signature. The workshops of the Verrerie de Biot endeavor to create unique items renowned for their rarity and precision. Such know-how and creativity ensure the international reputation of this small French company born from the dream of Eloi Monod, a ceramic engineer. With his wife, Luce, he trained a whole generation of talented glassmakers and was the precursor of the revival of artisanal glassmaking in France.
