The point of Nard Viou or the point of the whale

Located in the extension of the Calanques du Pilon in the commune of Le Lavandou, the point of Nard Viou is also nicknamed 'point of the whale' in reference to the cetaceans observable off the coast of the Var department. The town of le Lavandou is, in fact, also known as the 'City of Dolphins and Whales' and offers naturalist outings in the Pelagos Sanctuary aboard the patrol boats 'Iles d'Or et le Corsaire'.
