Pic de l'Ours (foreground) is one of the peaks of the Massif de l'Estérel, in the Var department. It rises to 1,614 ft (492 m) above the Mediterranean and is easily identifiable thanks to the white and red telecommunications antenna that it carries. Pic de l'Ours is accessible from Col Notre-Dame through an hour and a half hiking circuit that includes the Dent de l'Ours and offers a panoramic view from the Gulf of La Napoule to that of Fréjus.
