The outdoor exhibition

The Cité du Train-Patrimoine SNCF has an outdoor area of 16,000 m2 with a permanent exhibition – the Railway Panorama – as well as numerous events (mini express d’Alsace, first rides on a railcar, etc.). A track plan, bordering the permanent exhibition, makes it possible to organise temporary exhibitions of equipment, from April to October, with the presentation of some elements parked in the Cité du Train’s reserve building. The outdoor area comes in addition to the two covered halls dedicated to the history of the railway.
