The childhood home of Christian Dior, Les Rhumbs, stands on the cliff of Granville in the Manche department. Its name refers to the 32 divisions of the wind rose. In 1997, the house became the only museum dedicated to the French designer. The Présence de Christian Dior association manages the museum on behalf of the town of Granville and organizes literary, artistic, and cultural events to preserve Christian Dior's memory.
