The Ferme des 30 arpents offers 197 acres (80 ha) of meadows to its 250 cows in order to produce the best milk. It is the only manufacturer of cheese Brie of Meaux and its PDO designation (protected origin) is not usurped. It is located in Favières, in the heart of Brie Boisée, and has been carrying on the Brie cheese tradition since 1991. Twice a day, the Prim’holstein herd is taken for milking. 7,000 liters of milk are thus directly processed in the vats of the cheese dairy adjoining the barn.
