The Haras National du Pin in the Orne department welcomes young Percheron horses in breaking in to train them for uses as diverse as driving, recreational riding, agricultural work, or community services. They are entrusted to the stud by private breeders as part of the Centre de Valorisation du Haras du Pin (Valorization center of the Haras National du Pin). This training and resource center for breeds of excellence from Normandy (Percherons, Norman Cobs, Norman donkeys) is the only French center dedicated to the training of territorial horses.
