The Inzerki apiary is the oldest and largest traditional apiary in the world. Located in southeastern Morocco, this apiary was built in 1850 by the Imazighen, a Berber people from North Africa. The apiary is made up of 90 hives. At the time of peak activity in the apiary, 150 million bees can cross paths there. Unfortunately, and this for several years, the bees desert the site.
