The morning star

0
It has a nice name, but its efficiency is no less formidable. The morning star starts to spread at the beginning of the 14th century, especially in Germany, where it is known as Morgenstern. The term is often confused with the military flail. It consists of a spiked ball mounted on a handle. It looks like a mace, usually with a long blade extending from the top and many points around the head. An example is displayed in the weapons room of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle.
