The migrations of the yellow-legged gull
2
0
Very present around Serre-Ponçon lake, the yellow-legged gulls are a population of erratic larids which move without any organized migration. They disperse from their breeding areas and fly far inland within a maximum radius of 37 to 49 miles (60-80km) from a body of water. Their diurnal migrations form V-flights.
