The maintenance of the lavender fields
0
0
Lavender fields are treated with the same care as other crops. Once the lavender plants are planted, they must be hoed to remove the weeds and aerate the soil to ensure better water penetration and plant strengthening. This mechanical weeding is done with a hoe that passes through the rows. The front of the machine hoes between the plants that a curry comb placed at the back combs. A few months later, the lavender grower checks if all the plants have rooted and proceeds with any necessary transplanting.
