The life cycle of the vine

The vine is a perennial plant that has an annual cycle. It wakes up at the end of winter. When the sun is present, the sap rises and pearls at the end of the pruned branches. The vine weeps, a new vintage is beginning. The cycle ends at the end of autumn, after the harvest. When the leaves have fallen, the vine goes back to sleep to reconstitute its reverses for the next vintage.
