From Septmoncel les Molunes to Saint-Claude, one can follow the laces of Septmoncel that allow discovering impressive panoramas such as the Saut du Chien, the Roche Percée, or the Chapeau du Gendarme. A fold in the shape of the cocked hat worn by the gendarmes after the French Revolution, it is adorned in winter with an iced plume called glaçon de la Beaume thanks to the frozen Chapy stream. The musher Pierre Daniel often follows these laces in winter with his sleigh dogs.
