Pierre Daniel’s dogs are impatiently waiting to be harnessed to the sled for an outing. Although they do not participate in races, this training to run and tow is necessary for their individual balance and that of the pack and for the development of a close relationship with their musher. It is also usual to see the dogs howling their impatience and stamping with excitement while waiting for the famous ‘will to go’ which gives the order to start.
