The heritage of Louis Vuitton

Under the watchful eye of Louis Vuitton, the trunk maker who founded the company in 1854, Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud invents the brand's new fragrances. He takes up the torch from Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the founder's grandson, who - inspired by Chanel N°5 - launched three perfumes between 1927 and 1946. The formulas of Je, Tu, Il or Heures d'absences have since been lost, and the perfume range created 70 years later by the Vuitton house master perfumer reflects a completely different era.
