Designed in 2018 for the Jardin des Sculptures of the Fondation Carmignac in Porquerolles, the Three Alchemists by Jaume Plensa are three unique 13 ft (4 m) high bronzes with a natural patina. They represent three different faces that, according to the artist, appear as the guardians of a knowledge forgotten by men. Their high level of consciousness is symbolized by their form stretched towards the sky with an almost mystical aura.
