Located in the plain of Laumes near the departmental road 905, the main road serving the Alésia site, the Interpretation Center is the gateway to the MuséoParc Alésia. As the first pole developed on the site of the MuséoParc, it is also considered by its location and its theme turned towards the presentation of the siege of 52 BC as the first milestone in the progression of a chronological and upward visit over its five levels spread over two floors. Its terrace vegetated by the landscaper Michel Desvigne constitutes a third open-air floor arranged in such a way as to offer visitors a panoramic reading of the landscape of the siege of Alésia.
