The Halle aux Poissons (Fish Market) is the nerve center and the gastronomic epicenter of Trouville. People come here to buy shellfish and fish freshly unloaded from the boats. Since 1936, its false timber framing and corner watchtower show the return to Norman architecture initiated by Mayor Fernand Moureaux, thanks to the architects Marcel Davy and Maurice Halley. Trouville's Halle aux Poissons has been listed as a Historical Monument since 1991.
