The future wind farm of Fécamp

In Le Havre, a titanic construction site is underway to lay the foundations for the future offshore wind turbines of Fécamp. Seventy-one foundations 165 ft high (50 m) and weighing 5,000 tons are under construction in the port. The project aims to prepare for the completion of the future Fécamp offshore wind farm, the end of the assembly of which is estimated by 2024. For the site, concrete gravity foundations were favored over the usually used single-pile foundations.
