The forest of Lake Servières
Lake Servières, in the Puy-de-Dôme department, is surrounded by forests on most of its periphery and opens onto a vast meadow in its eastern part. The trees varieties bordering the lake's shores mainly belong to the family of evergreen conifers and consist of spruces or firs. However, the edge of Lake Servières is also home to scarcer and smaller deciduous trees.
