The fluidity of molten bronze
0
0
At GHM, the fluidity of the molten bronze (2,012°F or 1,100°C) cast in the moulds allows for hollow and complex parts. Precise dimensions reduce finishing and therefore material loss. They also make it possible to eliminate rolling in the case of bronze parts with a high silicon content. It is the know-how of the caster that makes all the difference. They will use tools to remove the skin that forms on the molten metal when it comes out of the furnace: the casting poured into the pre-prepared moulds will be free of impurities.
