Like all the rivers from the Alpine regions, the Verdon is usually abundant. Its nivo-pluvial hydrological regime is modified by a series of dams-reservoirs built along its course. However, at low flow, especially in the event of a five-year drought, the Verdon's flow can drop to 0.060 m3/s, which only represents 13.20 gals (60 liters) per second.
