From Nord-Pas-de-Calais to Calvados, Northern France is the leader in the international flax fibers sector. Normandy alone accounts for 50% of quality textile flax production in the world. The Terre de Lin cooperative, which operates in Saint-Pierre-le-Viger in the Seine-Maritime department, benefits from this unique terroir. It is responsible for 15% of the international flax production and is a major stakeholder upstream in the textile flax industry.
