The eastern advance of the Cap Ferrat peninsula comprises the Pointe de Saint-Hospice and the Pointe du Colombier and shelters the three coves of Scaletta to the east and Fossettes and Fossés to the west. The village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is nestled there between the Anse de la Scaletta and the Pointe Rompa Talon. Cap Ferrat separates Beaulieu-sur-Mer (right) from Villefranche-sur-Mer (left) in the Alpes-Maritimes department.
