The Terre de Lin cooperative has become the world leader in flax textile fibers. Since 1939, it has transformed the production of its 600 members and accompanied them through the cultivation process. Experts decide the crucial moment of the harvest by scrutinizing the flax fibers. They break the plant to reveal the silky fiber of the flax, known as the green gold of Normandy. The harvested plant is stacked and enters a factory where it is unrolled, flattened, separated, and combed.
