The Chinese pink hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-Sinensis), also known as Chinese rose, is a flowering plant of the Malvaceae family. This evergreen, perennial shrub with a deep, glossy green foliage blooms during the warmer months to give large, single or double, funnel-shaped flowers of varying color. Particularly ephemeral, they hardly last more than a day but are renewed throughout the summer.
