0
The village of Clécy, in the heart of the Calvados department, is known as the capital of the Norman Switzerland. This name was given to several regions of Normandy in the 19th century and refers to certain Norman landscapes reminiscent of those of the Alps and Switzerland. The village of Clécy, recognisable from the bell tower porch of its church, has approximately 1,290 inhabitants and is crossed by several rivers, including the River Orne. The village is a hotspot for sportsmen with a Via ferrata, canoeing, golf, and many other activities.
