Bugatti celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2019. The French brand, founded in Molsheim, Alsace, by Ettore Bugatti, is distinguished by its design and innovative engineering. The Cité de l’Automobile-Collection Schlumpf in Mulhouse has more than 100 historic examples of the brand in its permanent collection. The logo, designed in 1909, has remained unchanged since then: it still features an oval with 60 pearls and the stylised initials of Ettore Bugatti. For the Alsatian manufacturer, the red background stood for passion and performance, while the white letters and trim represented elegance and nobility.
